NOTE: Reaching the Cut Off Mark doesn’t guarantee admission, because there are lots of candidates who have similar or higher scores and every tertiary institution admits the best among all.
For example, if John scored 150 and Mary scored 190 in JAMB UTME respectively, whereas John and Mary are applying for the same course at the University of PortHarcourt (UNIPORT), from their scores the school is likely to admit Mary because of her high score in JAMB UTME. John might be admitted instead of Mary for the following reasons; if his O’ Level result is better than that of Mary, he scores higher than Mary in Post-UTME, and also if John’s O’ Level result is his first sitting and that of Mary is second sitting.
To be on the safer side you have to score very high in JAMB UTME and also in POST UTME since there are lots of candidates who applied for the same course as you did.

Is UNIPORT Cut Off Mark Fixed By JAMB?
NO! Uniport Cut Off Mark is not fixed by JAMB, rather JAMB gives a general fixed admission Cut Off Mark for all Public and private tertiary institutions each academic session, universities, polytechnics and colleges of education are to fix their minimum admission Cut off mark that must not go below the general JAMB Cut Off Mark.
