When is WAEC Starting for 2024

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has announced the starting date of the May/June 2024 Examination. The body has announced that the exam will commence on Monday 6 May, 2024 and will end on Friday 21 June, 2024.

The Exam date is for candidates who have registered and will be sitting for the exams from their various schools in Nigeria, this WAEC starting date is very important because it will help in preparing candidates for scheduled and better studying. This WAEC commencement date is for candidates who reside and registered there WAEC in Nigeria, but for candidates from other West African countries, you are advised to visit https://waec.org for updates.

Note: Candidates are warned by the West African Examination Council not to participate in any form of examination malpractice and misconduct, therefore candidates and schools should be careful and prepared in other not to fall victim.

WAEC Warning on Examination Malpractice

The West African Examination Council has issued a warning statement to Candidates, Schools, and Principals of Schools not to allow nor participate in any form of examination malpractice and misconduct.

WAEC Warning on Schools About Exams Malpractice

The council has warned that any school found wanting in any form of exam malpractice will be punished and will have to pay a penalty fee of N500,000 to WAEC and also stand a chance to be derecognized by the West African Examination Council (Council).

WAEC Warning on Schools’ Principals About Exams Malpractice

The Council has issued a warning statement to principals across schools to stay away from examination malpractice of any form, stating that, “Any schools’ principal found wanting in any form of exams malpractice will have to face the punishment from the West African Examination Council (WAEC)”.

WAEC Warning To Candidates Concerning Exams Malpractice

The West African Examination Council has issued a warning statement to candidates who will be sitting for the 2024 May/June Examination. The council stated that any candidates who participate in examination malpractice will have to face the appropriate punishment.
